Welcome to Dr. Zarrar Khan's Adult ASD Assessment Pathway. Our goal is to provide a thorough, compassionate, and personalized evaluation process to understand and address your unique needs.

A clinical assessment for ASD typically involves a one-on-one assessment, interviews with parents, carers, or family members as appropriate, and obtaining collateral information from others who know the individual well or have worked closely with them.

This process can involve multiple sessions and usually includes the use of a structured assessment tool/questionnaires, such as the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2), Autism Spectrum Quotient (AQ), and/or Ritvo Autism Asperger Diagnostic Scale – Revised (RAADS-R).

Additionally, reports from other specialists, such as a functional assessment, may be included at the clinical discretion of the assessing psychiatrist.

The final report is prepared, incorporating all of the above along with recommendations for the individual assessed.
